FAQ

Commercial countertops FAQ

What commercial countertops do you install?

We install reception desks, break rooms, restaurant and bar tops and retail counters. In addition, we handle hotel vanities, medical and dental counters, and multi-unit kitchens and baths.

Do you offer volume pricing?

Yes. Multi-unit and repeat projects get volume pricing. Simply send your plans, and then we will quote per unit.

Can you work around our construction schedule?

Yes. We offer schedule-friendly templating. Also, we coordinate install windows with your general contractor and other trades.

Which stone is best for a restaurant or bar?

Quartz and granite are both strong choices. For example, quartz is non-porous, while granite handles heat very well. Therefore, we help you choose for your use.

How do I get a bid?

Send plans or a scope to info@affordablestoneworks.com, or call (888) 745-3628. We will follow up with a written bid.

Coordination

How we coordinate with your team

First, we review plans and confirm finishes, edges and cutouts. Then we send a written bid with every line item.

Next, we agree on a template date once cabinets are set. In addition, we share lead times so you can plan other trades.

After that, we cut every piece in our own shop. Meanwhile, we keep you posted on progress.

Also, we stage installs by floor or unit when needed. For example, a multi-unit job can move in phases.

However, if the schedule shifts, tell us early. That way, we can adjust install dates without delays.

Finally, we clean up each area as we go. As a result, the next trade can start right away.
