Tips for buying residential countertops
A few smart steps protect your budget and your timeline. Here is what we suggest.
Compare full installed prices
Some quotes leave out edges, cutouts or removal. Therefore, ask for an itemized quote, like ours, so you can compare fairly.
Check who does the work
Many sellers hand the job to a subcontractor. In contrast, we cut and install with our own team. You can also look up any contractor with the California Contractors State License Board.
Match stone to use
Busy family kitchens often suit quartz or granite. Meanwhile, a guest bath can show off marble. Either way, we help you weigh looks against upkeep.
Residential countertops near you
We serve homes across Los Angeles County, the Inland Empire, Riverside County, the Temecula Valley and San Diego.
Residential countertops FAQ
What residential countertops do you install?
We install kitchens, islands, bathroom vanities, laundry rooms, wet bars, fireplaces and outdoor kitchens. In addition, we work in granite, quartz, marble and quartzite.
Do you work with house flippers and landlords?
Yes. Because flips and rentals need durable stone on a tight schedule, granite and quartz are both great fits. Also, we keep pricing clear.
Can you install in a new home or ADU?
Yes. For new homes and ADUs, we work around your builder schedule. Then we template once cabinets are set.
How much do residential countertops cost?
Installed granite starts around $45 per square foot and quartz around $55. See the cost guide for more detail.
Will you remove my old countertops?
Yes. Removal and haul-away are available. In addition, they are listed on your quote.
A typical home project timeline
First, you book a free measure by phone, chat or the online form. Then we visit, measure and talk through options.
Next, you choose the exact slab for your space. In addition, we confirm sinks, cooktops and edge style.
After that, we laser-template and cut the stone in our own shop. Meanwhile, you can plan any plumbing work.
Also, we give you a clear install date. Because we use our own crew, that date does not depend on a subcontractor.
Finally, we install, seal natural stone and clean up. As a result, most kitchens go from template to install in about a week.
Of course, bigger homes or several rooms can take a bit longer. However, we always tell you the plan up front.
